Chapter 80 - 80: Does It Still Hurt?
Tyler didn't know the direction where the iron fist came from that forced his head to snap sideways. He let out a deep grunt, his tongue tasting a metallic liquid substance in his mouth. His right cheek felt as though a boulder had come in contact with it, as pain shot up into his brain.
"You think you can mess around with my wife and still breathe."
Tyler who had barely recovered from the first punch felt another fist come in contact with his temple, knocking him to the floor.
"Agh!" Tyler spat out bloodied saliva, groaning in pain. "I swear, I didn't know....she was your..."
Tyler's words caught in his throat when he got a hard kick in his exposed groin.
"Agh!" Tyler felt blood and bile shoot up to his throat, as he grunted hitting his fist on the cold marble floor while gnashing his teeth.
"Ignorance is not an excuse."
Tyler felt another hard kick on his side, causing him to spit out more blood.

Amelia froze for a second before relaxing thinking she must be dreaming. She recalled that she hadn't left the outer sitting room. And the last time she checked, she was lying on a couch.
"Amy..." Blaze called softly, his deep and tranquil voice like sweet playing jazz music in her ear. She felt his gentle touch which felt so real stroking her cheeks. "I'm sorry for the way I rough-handled you. I was angry but I shouldn't have let my emotions get in the way."
Amelia continued to stare into those mesmerizing eyes which seemed to have her hypnotized. She felt a magnetic pull towards him causing her to push herself up. Her almond eyes welled up with tears as she lifted her hand to stroke the side of his face.
Blaze's heart was racing for the stars as he leaned toward her tender touch, a warmth he once experienced when his life was still sane creeping into his heart. He frowned when his eye fell on her slender neck which bore a faint mark of his rage.
Reaching for her neck, he gently touched it, causing Amelia's tears to fall.
"Does it still hurt?"
Amelia nodded as it slowly dawned on her that this wasn't a dream. Blaze was really back like he promised and he was no longer that monster she despised.
"Where does it hurt?" Blaze asked in a deep husky voice.
"Here." Amelia pointed at the base of her neck. She closed her eyes as his warm lips came in contact with her skin, kissing the spot she had pointed.
"Does it still hurt?" He asked looking up at her teary eyes and holding her passionate gaze.
"A little." Amelia moistened her dry lips as Blaze kissed her softly again trailing the kiss upwards.
"How about now?" His warm breath fanned against her skin.
"Almost there," Amelia whispered, melting like wax as he inched closer to her lips.
"And now?" He nuzzled her on the cheek, licking up her tears.
"Better!" She slowly leaned forward, locking lips with him as the world around her vaporised into thin air.
