Chapter 642: Rachel’s Divine Rebirth
Chapter 642: Rachel’s Divine Rebirth
Inside the hidden library, Atlas floated beside the [Divine Pod] with both arms crossed.
He was waiting for both Rachel and Garion to come out, but it had already been far too long, and that was starting to piss him off.
Then finally, the divine patterns across the pod suddenly began to glow brighter.
WOOOM!
Atlas immediately looked at it.
[About damn time.]
The crystal cover of the [Divine Pod] slowly opened, and soft pink-gold light poured out like morning sunlight.
Atlas narrowed his eyes.
[What the hell...?]
Inside the pod, Rachel slowly opened her eyes.
But the Rachel inside was completely different from before.
Her body had become taller, stronger, and more radiant. Her figure carried both beauty and power, like a goddess of love had been rebuilt into a divine warrior.
Her long pink hair flowed behind her like silk, filled with faint golden sparkles. Her eyes glowed softly with pink-gold light, warm but terrifyingly deep.
Her skin looked smooth and flawless, yet her muscles were clearly defined, giving her a powerful presence that no longer felt only gentle.
Atlas stared at her in silence because he did not know what to say.
Just like Garion before her, Rachel’s entire body had changed.
Then suddenly, Garion appeared again beside the pod, stretching lazily with a grin on his face. "That went pretty well."
Atlas turned to Garion and scowled.
[What the hell is this?]
Garion blinked. "What’s the matter?"
Atlas pointed at Rachel.
[I saw that when you entered the Divine Pod, the system in front of you told you to become the designer...]
His voice slowly trailed off.
For a moment, Atlas stared at Rachel’s transformed body.
Then his eyes moved back to Garion.
His expression changed.
[Wait...]
Atlas’s eyes widened as the pieces finally connected in his mind.
[Don’t tell me... the sealed state isn’t just a repaired body.]
Garion’s grin slowly widened.
Atlas’s voice became sharper.
[It’s a redesigned body.]
He looked at Rachel again, then back at Garion.
[That’s why both of you changed so much. The Divine Pod didn’t simply heal or strengthen your original bodies. It rebuilt them from the foundation using the design system.]
His eyes widened even more.
[You didn’t just awaken a Divine Relic. You used the Divine Relic process to recreate your entire body from scratch!]
Garion grinned widely. "Damn, finally. You figured out why I changed so much, huh? Yeah, exactly. Just like I said yesterday."
He placed one hand on the [Divine Pod].
"Inside here, the body is reformed into a divine relic. And inside, there is also a design system. So basically, just like you said, we design our body from scratch. A new body, rebuilt from the foundation. That’s why we’re able to change so much."
Atlas’s eyes widened, then narrowed as he looked at Rachel.
[So this is what you designed, Garion? Your own perfect-preference wife?]
Rachel slowly sat up inside the pod and looked at her own hands, quietly feeling the new power flowing through her body.
Garion immediately shook his head and turned toward Atlas. "Of course not. This is what she designed herself."
Atlas raised an eyebrow, clearly not believing him at all.
Garion continued, "I only helped her understand how to use the design system. I explained the controls, the options, and how the process worked."
He pointed at Rachel. "But the design itself came from her. I didn’t force anything."
Rachel looked up and smiled gently. "He really only helped me understand how to use it. He did not choose the design. This new body is my own choice."
Garion nodded. "Exactly."
Atlas still looked suspicious.
Garion clicked his tongue. "What? You seriously think I’m crazy enough to redesign someone’s body based on my own preferences?"
Atlas stared at him silently.
Then he nodded.
Garion’s mouth twitched. "Hey, don’t give me that nod with so much confidence."
Atlas continued staring at him.
Garion pointed at himself. "Listen, I may be shameless, annoying, and sometimes a little crazy, but I’m not that kind of bastard."
Atlas raised an eyebrow.
Garion sighed and continued, "Training someone until their body changes is one thing. That’s hard work, effort, and pain. But directly designing another person’s body without respecting what they want? Hell no. That’s crossing a line."
Atlas’s expression still did not change.
Garion clicked his tongue again. "Damn it, Atlas. I’m serious. I helped Rachel understand the system, but the final choice was hers. Her body, her design, her decision."
Atlas finally glanced at Rachel.
Rachel smiled gently and nodded.
Garion crossed his arms. "See? I’m shameless, not insane. I already told you before!"
Atlas looked back at him.
[That sentence sounds only half trustworthy.]
Garion’s eyebrow twitched. "You damn floating traitor."
Rachel laughed softly.
Garion clicked his tongue, but his eyes were still filled with relief as he looked at her.
Rachel stepped out of the [Divine Pod].
The moment her feet touched the ground, pink-gold light spread beneath her like blooming flowers.
Atlas’s expression became serious again.
[Her aura... she also reached Star Realm.]
Garion grinned. "Of course. After all, to enter the [Divine Pod], someone needs to be at the peak of the Peak Awakening Realm. So after rebirth, they directly step into Star Realm."
Atlas then nodded, finally understanding it.
Rachel looked at Garion, then slowly opened her arms.
Garion only smiled and walked forward.
Then both of them hugged each other tightly.
For a moment, neither of them said anything.
Rachel then whispered beside his ear, "I came back successfully, Garion, just like I promised."
Garion smiled too. "Yeah. Welcome back. I believed you would return."
The two of them stayed close for a moment, completely ignoring everything around them.
Atlas floated beside them, watching the scene with a deep frown.
[Can you two stop being lovey-dovey for one damn second?]
Garion glanced at him and grinned. "Jealous?"
Atlas’s face darkened.
[No. I’m disgusted.]
Rachel laughed softly.
Atlas crossed his arms and sighed.
[Great. Now there are two divine problems, and both of them are shamelessly flirting in front of me.]
